MLRO / Financial Crime Manager

About the role

Edenred UAE is seeking a seasoned Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) who will also serve as the Financial Crime Manager. The role is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the organisation's AML/CFT programme in line with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end AML/CFT compliance framework, ensuring it meets UAE AML/CFT Decision and CBUAE guidelines.
• Develop and apply a risk‑based approach to detect, investigate and report suspicious activities.
• Prepare and submit AML reports to regulatory authorities, including SARs and periodic filings.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring of transactions, customer onboarding (KYC) and enhanced due‑diligence processes.
• Lead internal AML training, awareness programmes and coordinate with business units.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory changes and advise senior management on compliance implications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an MLRO or senior AML/CFT compliance professional, preferably within the financial services or payroll sector.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE AML/CFT legislation, CBUAE guidelines and international best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex transaction patterns.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with regulators, auditors and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AML monitoring tools and transaction screening systems.
• Familiarity with KYC, CDD and EDD processes.
• Ability to prepare detailed compliance reports and documentation.
