MMA Coach – Certified Group Exercise Instructor

About the role

Black Pearl is seeking an energetic MMA Coach with a recognised Group Exercise Instructor certification to lead high‑energy MMA group classes at its premium sports, fitness and wellness facility in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering safe, motivating sessions while fostering member engagement and programme growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and adapt safe, structured MMA group classes for participants of varying fitness levels.
• Provide clear instruction, demonstrations and technique corrections.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive training environment and support participants in improving technique, conditioning, discipline and confidence.
• Conduct at least four group classes per working day according to schedule.
• Promote class participation, build relationships with members and assist with programme development.
• Organise and deliver at least one member event each month to aid retention and acquisition.
• Inspect studio and equipment, ensure cleanliness and safety, and report any hazards.
• Comply with all health, safety and operational procedures.

Required profile

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• Internationally recognised Group Exercise Instructor certification.
• Minimum one year experience as a Group Exercise Instructor, MMA Coach or similar.
• Practical knowledge of MMA and combat‑sports training.
• Strong focus on participant safety and technical detail.
• Physically capable of demonstrating required movements.
• Professional, reliable, punctual and team‑oriented.
