Mold & Tooling Changeover Technician – Defence Aerospace

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Mold & Tooling Changeover Technician to support production‑line tooling and mold changeover activities in a defence aerospace manufacturing environment. You will ensure safe, efficient installation and removal of molds and related process tooling on production equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, align, and securely fasten production molds and tooling.
• Connect and disconnect pneumatic, cooling, steam, and electrical utilities associated with molds.
• Inspect molds before and after use, clean and prepare them for storage or re‑installation.
• Operate hoists, overhead cranes, and other lifting equipment safely, performing slinging, positioning, and securing of heavy tooling.
• Follow EHS, LOTO, and lifting‑operation safety procedures throughout all activities.

Required profile

• Technical diploma, vocational qualification, or documented practical experience with molds and industrial process tooling.
• Proven experience in mold or tooling installation/removal in an industrial setting.
• Ability to safely handle heavy tooling and operate lifting equipment.
• Understanding of slinging, load‑positioning, and mold alignment principles.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, cooling, steam, and basic electrical connections.
• Familiarity with LOTO and lifting safety procedures; local lifting authorisations may be required.
