Munitions Controller – Dubai, UAE

About the role

The Munitions Controller will oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance and inspection activities for live, inert, and dummy munitions in Dubai. This position ensures the safe handling, accountability, and readiness of explosive assets in support of operational missions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly maintenance and inspection schedules for munitions and related equipment.
• Manage the Awaiting Maintenance (AWM), Awaiting Parts (AWP), and TCTO programs, reviewing status in weekly scheduling meetings.
• Coordinate with munitions accountability and supply liaison to fulfill TCTO requirements and reconcile asset status.
• Prepare consolidated forecasts and reports for senior leadership, including yearly, quarterly, and monthly maintenance projections.
• Operate the Combat Ammunition System (CAS) to input status data and support command‑control actions.
• Maintain control of keys and locks in accordance with AFI 21‑201 and manage emergency action check sheets.

Required profile

• Active Secret Clearance (interim clearance not accepted).
• Ability to pass a pre‑medical screening and a 7‑panel drug test.
• Experience with munitions handling, maintenance planning, or related defense logistics.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing workload demands.

Required skills

• Combat Ammunition System (CAS) operation.
