Munitions Support Equipment Maintenance (MSEM) Technician – UAE

About the role

The Munitions Support Equipment Maintenance (MSEM) Technician provides critical support for U.S. Air Force munitions, handling, and equipment at a Dubai site. The role requires an active U.S. Secret clearance, the ability to pass medical and drug screening, and the supervision of a mixed Asian/local workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, inspect, test, transport, and maintain USAF munitions and Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE).
• Operate Combat Ammunition System (CAS) as required by site processes.
• Supervise and coordinate Asian and local national munitions personnel.
• Conduct munitions repairs, reconditioning, and part replacement.
• Perform maintenance on light vehicles and handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual hoists.
• Deliver general and explosives safety briefings.
• Execute munitions storage actions in compliance with explosives standards.
• Carry out warehouse inventories and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Active U.S. Secret security clearance (interim not acceptable).
• Four years of experience with Military Munitions (Air Force MOS 2W0X1) or equivalent combined experience.
• Knowledge of USAF Supply and Technical Order systems.
• Ability to obtain a host‑nation driver’s license.
• Pass pre‑medical screening and a 7‑panel drug test.
