Music Educator – Secondary School

About the role

GEMS Metropole School is seeking an enthusiastic Music Educator to join its Secondary School team in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑quality music instruction to students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 while contributing to a vibrant, multicultural learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging music lessons for Key Stages 3‑5.
• Develop and share innovative teaching practices with colleagues.
• Foster a creative and enthusiastic classroom atmosphere.
• Utilise IT tools to enhance learning and maintain clear communication with students and parents.

Required profile

• B.Ed or subject‑related degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience teaching music at secondary level (Key Stages 3‑5).
• Demonstrated ability to share outstanding teaching practice.
• Creative, enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
