Network Controller

About the role

The Network Controller ensures Etihad's flight network runs safely, efficiently and on schedule. You will monitor real‑time operational data, resolve conflicts, and support stakeholders to maintain high on‑time performance.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the AIMS system up‑to‑date with operational realities using inputs from SITA, ACARS and email.
• Investigate and resolve network conflicts, coordinating with NOC and external partners.
• Address safety and security incidents in line with the Emergency Response Plan and Safety Management System.
• Communicate changes or disruptions clearly to all relevant parties.
• Provide timely information and operational assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement new procedures from Network Control Management promptly.
• Monitor weather, METARs and NOTAMs to anticipate operational impacts.
• Manage ad‑hoc activities such as charter flights, repatriation services and contingency plans for airspace closures.

Required profile

• Degree level education or an industry‑accredited operational qualification.
• At least 3 years of airline operations experience, including 1 year in Operations Control, Station Control or Dispatch.
• Broad knowledge of airline operations across airport, ramp and commercial functions.
