About the role
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing our network security posture, handling day‑to‑day operations and incident response.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot network security infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancers and web application firewalls.
- Respond to P1/P2 incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and drive resolution.
- Implement and maintain security policies and high‑availability architectures.
- Perform routine BAU activities, monitoring, and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure network design and operation.
Required profile
- 6‑8 years of hands‑on experience in network and network security.
- Proven track record handling incident management and security policy administration.
- Strong understanding of switching and routing concepts.
Required skills
- Palo Alto firewalls
- F5 load balancers
- Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Switching and routing configuration
