Network & Security Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, AI‑enabled financial services institution in the UAE. The role will shape the bank’s software‑defined network and security architecture from day one, working closely with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security and AI teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate SD‑WAN, DNS and load‑balancing solutions across cloud and office locations.
• Deploy and manage next‑generation firewalls, DDoS protection, intrusion detection and cloud‑edge security controls.
• Engineer SWIFT connectivity and payment‑system infrastructure to meet banking compliance.
• Implement zero‑trust access models, workload‑identity segmentation and secure connectivity across the estate.
• Create and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and modern automation practices.
• Monitor network performance, security telemetry, disaster‑recovery readiness and overall infrastructure resilience.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in network and security infrastructure engineering within banking, fintech or other regulated environments.
• Proven expertise in software‑defined networking and cloud‑based network security.
• Strong background with Terraform (or similar IaC tools) and cloud networking on Azure and/or AWS.
• Deep understanding of zero‑trust security principles and secure banking network requirements.
