Nurse Supervisor – Tissue & Organ Donation

About the role

A leading healthcare organization in Dubai is looking for an experienced Nurse Supervisor to lead the tissue and organ donation service. The role provides clinical leadership, ensures safe donor management, and supports families throughout the donation process.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing activities related to tissue and organ donation.
• Provide clinical guidance for donor identification, assessment, and management.
• Coordinate care with ICU, emergency, operating theatre, transplant, laboratory and other departments.
• Oversee documentation, monitoring, and compliance with clinical policies and ethical standards.
• Support families, facilitate communication, and ensure smooth coordination between the donation team and healthcare professionals.
• Develop and monitor nursing workflows, protocols, and service standards.
• Identify training needs, mentor staff, and participate in recruitment and performance evaluation.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and incident reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Valid professional nursing registration/license.
• Significant clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in nursing.
• Experience in organ/tissue donation, transplantation, critical care, ICU or emergency nursing is highly desirable.
