OES Team Leader

About the role

The OES Team Leader will head a group of specialist ATSEP engineers responsible for the operation, maintenance and safety of Air Traffic Engineering (ATE) systems. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures that all equipment complies with CNS manuals, safety standards and the Dubai Air Navigation Services Quality Management System, delivering reliable ATC services to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of specialist engineers, ensuring effective performance and development.
• Maintain ATE systems and equipment in accordance with CNS manuals, GCAA regulations and ICAO standards.
• Oversee safety and quality procedures, guaranteeing seamless ATC service delivery.
• Develop and implement quality standards, testing procedures, and inspection reporting formats.
• Coordinate with ATC and airport stakeholders to meet service expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 6 years of ATE specialist experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Relevant certificates of competency on ATE systems; all Level 2 competencies current.
• OJTI qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of GCAA Civil Aviation Regulations and ICAO standards.
• Technical knowledge of communications, navigation, radar, ATM and other airport systems.
• Personal airport driving permit (ADP) for local airports.
