About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Technical Engineer to join our construction team in Dubai. The role involves technical coordination, drawing review, preparation of method statements and submittals, and providing on‑site technical support to ensure smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate civil and structural drawings and technical documents.
• Prepare and review Method Statements, Technical Submittals, RFIs, and Inspection Requests.
• Provide technical support to the site team and resolve construction‑related technical issues.
• Coordinate technical matters with the Consultant, Client, subcontractors, and site team.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and Method Statements.
• Review construction details and propose practical technical solutions.
• Coordinate structural and architectural interfaces and resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Assist in material approval, technical submissions, and shop drawing coordination.
• Participate in site inspections, technical meetings, and construction coordination meetings.
• Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager on engineering matters and monitor technical issues to closure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil/structural construction.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in UAE/Dubai construction projects is preferred.

Required skills

• Reinforced concrete design and detailing.
• Rebar detailing and formwork.
• Concrete works and general civil construction.
• Interpretation of construction drawings, specifications and engineering standards.
• Preparation of Method Statements, RFIs, Technical Submittals, Shop Drawings and Inspection Requests.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
