Offshore HSE Officer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Black & Grey HR is looking for an experienced Offshore HSE Officer to join a client’s offshore operations in Abu Dhabi on a permanent basis, working a 90/30 rotation. You will be responsible for ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance across offshore project sites and supporting a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement company, client and project HSE policies and procedures offshore.
• Carry out regular HSE inspections of work areas, equipment and practices, reporting any deviations.
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, safety briefings and awareness programmes.
• Support emergency response activities, including medical evacuations and drills.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses and assist with corrective actions.
• Monitor inspection and maintenance of lifesaving, firefighting and emergency equipment.
• Facilitate offshore HSE meetings and coordinate with clients and operational teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics and incident documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent.
• NEBOSH or IOSH Diploma (or equivalent internationally recognised certification).
• ADNOC HSE Passport holder.
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Auditor Certifications.
• 6–7 years of HSE experience, including at least 2 years offshore in oil & gas or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of national, international and client‑specific HSE standards.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
