Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Coordinator supports daily operations at The Authors Holiday Homes, ensuring effective communication and coordination across multiple departments. Working closely with the Assistant Operations Manager, the role helps streamline workflows and maintain high operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with the Communication, HR, Procurement, Guest Relations, and Maintenance teams.
• Prepare and update staff rosters to ensure proper scheduling and coverage.
• Report daily tasks, pending matters, and operational requirements to the Assistant Operations Manager.
• Attend weekly operations meetings and assist in updating SOPs and operational reports.
• Supervise and follow up with the Communication Team on escalated cases.
• Coordinate with Procurement regarding required items and pending purchases.
• Identify opportunities to improve guest experience and submit suggestions.
• Track and update lock passwords.
• Maintain documentation for operational tasks, reports, and internal records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Hospitality, Tourism or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in holiday homes, hospitality or property management.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations and holiday home operations (preferred).
• Experience with OTA platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com) and Property Management Systems.
• Strong organizational, communication and customer service abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic and a UAE driving licence are a plus.
