Operations Manager – Finance & Operations

About the role

The Operations Manager will support the Head of Finance and Operations in back‑office functions for an equity trading business located on Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that front‑office transactions are processed accurately, fund movements follow customer service and broker instructions, and settlement activities are completed on time.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Finance and Operations with daily back‑office operations.
• Maintain integrity of financial operations, including auctioning and processing transactions between accounts.
• Produce, verify, and reconcile financial reports and balances.
• Review accounting functions such as accounts management, revenue accounting, and collection monitoring.
• Supervise back‑office transactions, gather client requirements, liaise with brokers, and monitor client accounts.
• Prepare regular reports to support daily trading activities and provide confirmations to clients.
• Oversee documentation from customer care and broker representatives to prevent insider trading.
• Review management information reports, calculate commissions, and monitor credit limits.
• Assist in developing and maintaining MIS and performance management tools.
• Provide technical assistance on listed securities, market conditions, and regulatory matters.
• Prepare payments for settlement dues.

Required profile

• At least 60 months (5 years) of experience in finance or operations.
• Strong understanding of back‑office processes and settlement functions.
• Ability to work closely with brokers, customer service, and the front office.
• Attention to regulatory compliance and documentation controls.
• Analytical mindset with strong reporting skills.
