Operations Specialist – Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Operations Specialist to manage procurement, supply chain, and logistics activities from our Dubai office, supporting operations primarily in Angola. The role involves coordinating with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant, and cost‑effective movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end procurement of raw materials and operational supplies using SAP Business One.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, issue purchase orders, and monitor delivery performance.
• Manage import and export shipments by sea, air, and land, preparing all required documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to resolve issues and track shipments.
• Plan and optimise transportation schedules, control freight costs, and support warehouse inventory accuracy.
• Process customer and supplier orders, verify shipment accuracy, and generate operational reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international procurement, logistics coordination, and import/export operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with suppliers, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders.
