Operations Supervisor – E‑commerce & Courier Logistics

About the role

NAQEL Express, a leading courier and e‑commerce logistics provider in the UAE, is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to manage daily hub and last‑mile activities in Dubai. The role ensures smooth inbound/outbound processing, dispatch scheduling, route compliance and cash‑on‑delivery reconciliation while meeting strict service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily resource allocation, shift schedules and volume handling to meet customer SLAs and operational KPIs.
• Supervise sorting, line‑haul offloading, bagging and dispatch operations, ensuring 100% scanning accuracy and SOP compliance.
• Monitor courier run‑sheets, route optimisation, first‑attempt delivery rates and return‑to‑origin processing.
• Oversee driver cash remittances, reconcile COD collections with finance teams and prevent revenue leakage.
• Lead, train and evaluate dispatchers, couriers and warehouse handling staff to drive productivity and safety.
• Investigate and resolve stuck shipments, delivery exceptions, missed SLAs and customer escalations.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping, warehouse safety and security protocols across the processing floor.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of operational supervision in last‑mile courier, 3PL express or e‑commerce logistics in the UAE.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written); Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE routing, express courier regulations and e‑commerce peak‑season dynamics.
• Proven ability to manage large teams of couriers, dispatchers and sorting assistants in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and financial acumen for COD reconciliation.
