About the role
The Operations Support Engineer will support oil & gas pipeline projects, focusing on GRP‑pipe construction, hydro‑testing, and documentation. The role involves both field work and office coordination to ensure project deliverables are met on time and to quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in GRP‑pipe construction and pipeline hydro‑testing activities.
- Read and extract Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from pipe isometrics.
- Maintain filing and document control for project records.
- Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and internal teams.
- Monitor project schedules, manage time‑critical tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
Required profile
- Age between 24 and 40 years.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the oil & gas sector.
- UAE driving licence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure.
Required skills
- GRP piping.
- Pipeline hydro‑testing.
- BOQ extraction from pipe isometrics.
