Operations Team Leader

About the role

The Operations Team Leader ensures smooth and efficient daily operations of the rides and attractions area within Miral Experiences. This role directly impacts the opening, guest experience, and closing of leisure facilities by overseeing team performance, safety, and procedural compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of front‑line colleagues, including training, scheduling, attendance, grooming, coaching, appraisals and personal development plans.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and handle disciplinary actions in line with company policy.
• Schedule breaks and rotate staff to maintain coverage, productivity and well‑being.
• Train staff on safe equipment operation and enforce departmental policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe operating environment and report defects to the relevant department.
• Lead daily briefings and ensure completion of opening/closing checklists and proper filing of records.
• Coordinate emergency evacuation procedures and address any abnormal occurrences.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading front‑line operational teams in a leisure or attractions setting.
• Strong communication skills to relay issues up the management chain.
• Ability to enforce safety standards and handle emergency situations.
• Demonstrated capability to coach, motivate and develop staff.
• Attention to detail for checklist compliance and defect reporting.
