Optometrist – OWNDAYS

About the role

The Optometrist will join the OWNDAYS store in Dubai, delivering comprehensive eye care services and supporting the optical retail team. You will conduct eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations and vision assessments for customers.
• Diagnose vision problems and prescribe glasses or contact lenses.
• Fit contact lenses, provide after‑care guidance and maintain accurate patient records.
• Offer personalized product recommendations based on customers’ lifestyle and vision needs.
• Follow up with patients within three days after examinations to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor contact lens inventory, check expiry dates, place orders and oversee equipment maintenance.
• Assist with optical sales and contribute to customer retention and store performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or recognized qualification in Optometry.
• Minimum two years of professional experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Valid Optometrist license or eligibility letter from MOH, DHA, or DOH.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or Russian is a plus.
