OT Senior Security Engineer

About the role

Help AG is seeking an experienced OT Senior Security Engineer to lead the protection, operation and secure provisioning of its Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environment in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures the availability, integrity and security of critical OT infrastructure while supporting OT‑IT integration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support, administration and maintenance of OT/ICS cybersecurity tools and infrastructure.
• Perform asset management and inventory of OT security resources.
• Install, configure, backup and restore solutions such as antivirus, application whitelisting, firewalls, IPS/IDS, data diodes, secure file transfer and passive monitoring.
• Manage user accounts, network rights and access controls for OT security systems.
• Maintain security baseline configurations and assist system custodians in applying them.
• Detect, analyse and mitigate threats using IDS, SIEM alerts, firewall logs and network traffic data.
• Develop and execute remedial action plans to resolve vulnerabilities and ensure production continuity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve security incidents and ensure compliance with OT cybersecurity metrics and KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience securing OT/ICS environments and OT‑IT integration.
• Strong understanding of industrial network topologies and data flows.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with security metrics, KPIs and baseline configuration standards.
