Parent Relations Executive – School Community Lead

About the role

The Parent Relations Executive supports the Principal in building a vibrant parent community that underpins the school’s culture. The role ensures enrolment targets are met while delivering high‑quality service to both prospective and existing parents.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead school tours for prospective parents, highlighting the school’s unique selling points.
• Oversee the Front of House/Reception, providing consistent, high‑quality customer service across all touchpoints.
• Manage school communication channels such as newsletters to keep parents informed about activities.
• Organise parent and community events to encourage engagement and participation.
• Create and distribute stories and photographic material for internal newsletters and digital channels in English and Arabic.
• Develop and implement retention strategies to maintain enrolment numbers.
• Conduct surveys of new parents, analyse feedback and present recommendations.
• Assist the corporate marketing team in maintaining up‑to‑date marketing materials and digital communications.
• Collaborate with the Principal/CEO and Registrar to produce an events calendar supporting enrolment activities.
• Ensure compliance with GEMS policies, procedures and codes of conduct.
• Handle parent concerns, complaints and feedback promptly, liaising with relevant departments.
• Promote other GEMS schools when appropriate by arranging appointments.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation with experience handling enquiries.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior school leadership.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Organisational skills to manage events and communication calendars.
