Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive ensures smooth front‑desk operations at Bareen International Hospital, greeting patients, managing appointments and handling financial transactions. This role is pivotal in delivering accurate information, maintaining patient records, and supporting the clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients, direct them to the appropriate department and provide routine hospital information.
• Answer telephone inquiries, record messages and coordinate callbacks with doctors or nurses.
• Manage appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, confirming and handling no‑shows.
• Register new patients and keep existing patient records up‑to‑date.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co‑payments and process claim forms.
• Handle daily cash, credit‑card and cheque deposits, ensuring accurate financial processing.
• Maintain knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic timings, doctor rosters and booking procedures.
• Check and respond to emails promptly, uphold hospital policies and maintain a clean reception area.
• Process patient invoices, issue bills and assist patients in understanding charges and payment options.
• Address patient complaints professionally and contribute to quality‑improvement activities.
