Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive provides front‑line support to patients and ensures smooth administrative operations within the hospital. This role involves greeting visitors, managing appointments, handling payments, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to appropriate departments and provide routine hospital information.
• Handle telephone inquiries, forward calls to doctors or nurses, and manage callbacks.
• Manage appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, confirming and handling no‑shows.
• Register new patients and keep existing patient records up to date.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co‑payments, and provide claim forms when required.
• Process daily cash, credit‑card slips and cheque deposits in accordance with finance protocols.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic timings, doctor rosters and booking procedures.
• Respond to email queries promptly and ensure uniform operations according to hospital policies.
• Handle patient complaints professionally, respecting privacy and confidentiality.
• Generate and process patient invoices, issue bills, and assist patients with payment options.
