Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive will be the first point of contact for visitors at Royal Hospital Dubai Investment Park, handling patient registration, appointment coordination, billing and insurance queries while ensuring a smooth and professional front‑desk experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to appropriate departments and provide routine hospital information.
• Manage telephone inquiries, schedule appointments, handle no‑shows, rescheduling and confirmations.
• Register new patients, keep existing patient records up‑to‑date and maintain confidentiality.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co‑payments and process claim forms.
• Facilitate daily cash, credit‑card and cheque collections and ensure accurate end‑of‑shift processing.
• Generate and process patient invoices, ensuring correct coding and billing.
• Check and respond to emails daily, handle complaints promptly and follow hospital policies.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic times, doctor rosters and appointment procedures.
• Participate in training programs and quality‑improvement activities, adhering to NMC regulations, infection‑control and JCI standards.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a shift‑based schedule and follow duty rosters.
• Strong attention to detail with high standards of data accuracy.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Familiarity with hospital policies, NMC regulations and quality‑assurance processes.
• Professional interpersonal skills for dealing with patients, staff and management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a Hospital Information System for registration and billing.
