Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive is the first point of contact for visitors at the Royal Medical Centre Shahama. This role ensures smooth patient flow, accurate registration, and efficient handling of billing and insurance queries.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to appropriate departments, and provide routine hospital information.
• Manage telephone inquiries, schedule appointments, handle no‑shows, rescheduling and confirmations.
• Register new patients, keep existing records up‑to‑date, and maintain confidentiality.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co‑payments, and provide claim forms when needed.
• Process daily cash, credit‑card slips and cheque deposits, ensuring accurate financial recording.
• Generate and process patient invoices, ensuring correct coding and billing.
• Monitor and respond to emails and complaints promptly, following hospital policies.
• Adhere to NMC regulations, infection‑control standards, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
