Patient Administration Executive

About the role

The Patient Administration Executive ensures smooth front‑desk operations, providing essential support to patients, clinicians and finance teams at Speciality Hospital Dubai. This role combines customer service, appointment coordination and financial processing in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to the appropriate department and provide routine hospital information.
• Handle telephone inquiries, relay messages to doctors or nurses and arrange callbacks.
• Manage appointments, including rescheduling, confirming and handling no‑shows.
• Register new patients and keep existing patient records up to date.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co‑payments and provide claim forms when required.
• Facilitate daily cash, credit‑card and cheque collections, ensuring accurate end‑of‑shift processing.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic schedules and doctors’ rosters.
• Monitor and respond to email queries promptly.
• Ensure all operations follow hospital policies, NMC regulations, infection‑control and JCI standards.
• Handle patient complaints professionally and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Generate and process patient invoices, issue bills and assist patients with payment options.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient‑focused attitude.
• Ability to handle cash, credit‑card and cheque transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with medical insurance processes and eligibility verification.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data privacy and confidentiality.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts as assigned by the team leader.
• Adherence to NMC, infection‑control and JCI regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Hospital Information System (HIS).
