Payroll HCM Expert

About the role

The Payroll HCM Expert will align payroll processes with Oracle Fusion HCM capabilities, drive automation and ensure compliance with legal, tax and data‑security standards. Working closely with HR, Finance and IT, the role enhances user experience across multiple legal entities in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, test and support Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll, Absences and OTL modules, including earnings, deductions, costing and retro‑pay.
• Design payroll calculation rules, fast formulas and validation rules to meet statutory, company and union requirements.
• Maintain payroll calendars, payment methods, costing rules and integration points with Core HR, Time & Labor, Absence Management and Financials.
• Manage end‑to‑end payroll cycles, resolve errors, and ensure timely posting to the General Ledger.
• Configure approval workflows, security roles and user access to enforce segregation of duties.
• Develop payroll reports using OTBI, BI Publisher and HCM Extracts for statutory reporting and audits.
• Lead data migration activities with HCM Data Loader, validating historical balances and elements.
• Conduct system testing (SIT, UAT), parallel runs and cut‑over activities, documenting test cases and results.
• Provide post‑go‑live support, troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare functional documentation and deliver training to HR and payroll users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, IT or a related field.
• Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll certification preferred.
• 10‑12 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll and related modules.
• Strong knowledge of statutory payroll requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to manage complex payroll cycles and lead system implementations.
