Payroll Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist with at least five years of experience in multi‑entity environments such as retail or F&B. The role involves managing end‑to‑end payroll across several business units, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly payroll process for multiple entities, consolidating attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, incentives and commissions.
• Coordinate with HR Coordinators across stores, restaurants and departments to gather and verify payroll inputs.
• Process payroll through various HRMS/payroll systems, perform data entry, and reconcile figures.
• Prepare manual payroll calculations in Excel when required, maintaining detailed reports and trackers.
• Conduct thorough payroll checks, validate data, and resolve discrepancies before final submission.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, support audits, and respond to employee payroll queries.
• Continuously review and improve payroll processes for efficiency and control.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in multi‑entity, high‑volume settings.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and error‑prevention focus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across multiple business units.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, reconciliation).
• Proficiency with HRMS/payroll systems, with exposure to multiple platforms.
