Pediatric ENT Specialist – Consultant Position in Dubai

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric ENT to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical and surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents with ear, nose, and throat conditions, working within a multidisciplinary team to provide family‑centered healthcare.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric ENT disorders.
- Treat conditions such as recurrent ear infections, hearing loss, tonsillitis, adenoid disease, sinus disorders, airway abnormalities, sleep‑disordered breathing, speech and swallowing disorders, and congenital ENT anomalies.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures including endoscopy, audiological assessments and relevant imaging.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using medical and surgical approaches.
- Carry out pediatric ENT surgeries such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, ventilation tube insertion, airway surgery and other specialized interventions.
- Provide expert consultation to pediatricians, neonatologists and other specialists on complex cases.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality‑improvement initiatives, teaching activities and clinical research.
Required profile
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Specialty training in Otolaryngology with a fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric ENT.
- Western‑trained education and/or clinical experience (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or equivalent) – mandatory.
- Minimum five years’ experience as a Consultant Pediatric ENT in a reputable tertiary‑care hospital.
- Eligibility for, or possession of, a valid DHA/DOH/MOH Consultant licence.
- Demonstrated expertise in both medical and surgical management of pediatric ENT conditions.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to compassionate, patient‑ and family‑centered care.
