Pediatric Specialist – Clinical Care

About the role

M42 Health is seeking a qualified Pediatric Specialist to deliver comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. The role focuses on evidence‑based diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions while supporting family‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients in various clinical environments.
• Manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and developmental concerns.
• Conduct well‑child visits, routine health assessments, and immunizations.
• Monitor growth, development, and nutritional status.
• Interpret laboratory, radiological, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Develop individualized treatment and follow‑up plans aligned with international best practices.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in on‑call coverage and emergency pediatric care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
• Support clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD or equivalent).
• Recognized residency training in Pediatrics.
• Specialist qualification recognized by the Abu Dhabi Department of Health.
• Valid DOH license for Pediatric Specialist.
• 3–5 years of post‑specialization clinical experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge in general pediatric medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to evidence‑based, patient‑centered care.
