People Operations Associate

About the role

As a People Operations Associate at Tamara, you will be the primary point of contact for employees throughout their lifecycle, from pre‑boarding to off‑boarding. You will ensure smooth HR operations while maintaining full compliance with UAE labour legislation and supporting a multicultural workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding, including document collection, IT setup, and orientation scheduling.
• Coordinate with the UAE PRO for visas, work permits, and Emirates ID issuance.
• Serve as the HR help‑desk, issuing letters, certificates, NOCs, and handling dependent visa additions.
• Drive Golden Visa applications, monitor expiries, and ensure timely renewals.
• Administer medical insurance enrolments, claims, and monthly invoice reconciliation.
• Oversee off‑boarding processes, asset collection, system de‑activation, and final settlements.
• Maintain audit‑ready HR records, update policies in line with UAE labour law and free‑zone regulations, and support internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in HR operations or a People Associate role within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, free‑zone regulations, and visa processes.
• Excellent service mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
