Personal Banking Service Advisor – UAE

About the role

To deliver exceptional customer service by handling branch‑based banking transactions, resolving queries, promoting products and ensuring compliance. The role serves as the first point of contact, enhancing the banking experience and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service and address inquiries efficiently.
• Process customer transactions including account opening, maintenance, fund transfers, cheque services and service requests.
• Assist customers with digital banking enrollment and self‑service channels.
• Identify customer needs and promote relevant banking products such as accounts, cards, deposits, loans and insurance.
• Handle customer complaints and service issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all transactions and documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of banking products, policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Support branch sales and service targets through effective customer engagement.
• Adhere to AML, KYC and internal control requirements.
• Supervise and train the teller team, monitoring performance and providing coaching.
• Process cash transactions, balance drawers and reconcile daily activities.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and assist with branch opening/closing procedures.
• Monitor transactions for potential fraudulent activity and ensure compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in banking, customer service, sales or branch operations (fresh graduates with strong orientation may be considered).
