Pet Feeder & Cleaner – Daycare & Boarding

About the role

We are looking for an experienced pet feeder and cleaner to join our veterinary practice that combines daycare, grooming and retail services in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will oversee the boarding unit, ensure animals receive proper care, and support the wider team across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all areas, including boarding rooms, habitats and sleeping areas, with at least three cleanings per day.
• Monitor the wellbeing of animals in daycare and boarding, providing updates on their condition.
• Feed and administer oral medication under veterinary guidance.
• Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behavior.
• Provide basic grooming when needed and assist with physiotherapy or alternative treatments as an assistant.
• Support other departments such as retail, clinic, physiotherapy, daycare and pet taxi when required.
• Collaborate closely with handlers, nurses and veterinarians to foster a teamwork culture.

Required profile

• Certified trainer‑handler with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to assist in physiotherapy/alternative treatment areas.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in the UAE veterinary market and familiarity with local veterinary organisations is preferred.
