Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Dubai)

About the role

The Pharmacy team in Dubai is looking for a qualified Pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a community setting. You will work closely with patients, healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure safe, effective medication use and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, compound, label and dispense medications according to physician orders while checking for therapeutic incompatibilities.
• Maintain proper storage conditions for all pharmaceuticals and manage inventory, including controlled substances.
• Provide pharmacological information to multidisciplinary teams and counsel patients on drug therapies.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, verify their work, and coordinate workflow to meet operational standards.
• Ensure all personal and company licences are up‑to‑date in line with governmental requirements.
• Monitor patient drug therapies, advise interventions and document outcomes.
• Stay current with local and international pharmacy laws (DHA, MOH) and advise management on legislative changes.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of professional pharmacy experience (minimum 24 months).
• Valid pharmacy licence to practice in the United Arab Emirates.
• Familiarity with UAE pharmacy regulations and patient support programs.
• Ability to work six days per week in an onsite pharmacy environment.
