Pharmacy Manager – Lead Pharmacy Services

About the role

We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead the pharmacy department at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Dubai. The role involves overseeing all pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering high‑quality medication services to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to the pharmacy team and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
• Ensure efficient and accurate dispensing of medication in line with UAE regulatory requirements.
• Implement and monitor effective inventory management practices, maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Maintain compliance with authority and company quality and risk‑mitigation standards.
• Manage and monitor the pharmacy budget and financial performance.

Required profile

• B. Pharm degree from an accredited institution and a valid pharmacist license from the UAE healthcare authority.
• At least 3 years of pharmacy management experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of legislative and regulatory pharmacy requirements.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and healthcare industry practices.
• Experience with patient‑experience principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in stock management and control.
• Commercial awareness within a healthcare environment.
