About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Physical Education Teacher for Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School, an American‑curriculum mixed‑gender primary school in Abu Dhabi, starting in the academic year 2026/27. The role involves delivering inspiring, inclusive PE lessons that promote student progress and align with the school’s vision of collaboration, leadership and creativity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Physical Education lessons that cater to a wide ability range and inspire students to achieve their best.
• Plan and prepare curriculum‑aligned sessions in collaboration with fellow teachers, ensuring resources and displays create a positive learning environment.
• Assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system and provide feedback to parents and carers.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy, acting as a positive role model and promoting self‑control and independence.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and weekly ECA sessions, including outings that may occur outside regular school hours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is an additional language.
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check and willingness to reside in the same Emirate as the school.
• Passion for whole‑child education and involvement in extracurricular activities.
