Physical Education Teacher (Female) – Jan 2027 Start

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for an outstanding Physical Education teacher (female) to join Muna British Academy in Abu Dhabi, starting in January 2027. The role supports the day‑to‑day running of the PE department, handling administration, equipment maintenance and lesson support while contributing to the school’s extensive squad programme.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the daily operation of the PE department, including administrative tasks, displays and lesson support.
• Monitor, maintain and store PE equipment, preparing resources for each lesson.
• Support PE staff in creating lesson resources and contribute to school squad provision.
• Maintain the department’s booking sheet, communicate with external agencies for fixtures and events, and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Comply with health‑and‑safety regulations, school policies and attend staff briefings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience.
• Experience working with students for whom Arabic is not the first language.
• Passion for sport and commitment to educating the whole child.
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or police check.
