Physical Education Teacher (FS to Year 11)

About the role

Star International School is looking for a qualified Physical Education (PE) teacher to deliver engaging PE lessons from Foundation Stage to Year 11. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a lifelong love of sport, health and teamwork while aligning with the school’s vision of independent learning and compassion.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess PE curriculum for FS‑Year 11 classes.
• Integrate the National Curriculum of England and British teaching standards.
• Collaborate with Key Stage leaders, senior management and parents to support student progress.
• Lead in‑school INSET sessions and contribute to staff development.
• Research, implement and evaluate new PE initiatives and teaching strategies.

Required profile

• Relevant British teaching qualification (Bachelor’s degree plus recognised teaching credential).
• Minimum two years recent experience teaching PE in a British primary or British‑curriculum school overseas.
• Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work flexibly with diverse stakeholders.
• Leadership qualities and willingness to deliver in‑school professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ICT for lesson planning and assessment.
• Ability to apply AFL (Assessment for Learning) strategies effectively.
