Physical Education Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

GEMS FirstPoint School is looking for an outstanding Physical Education Teacher to join its vibrant community as soon as possible. The role offers the chance to teach across the British curriculum and, for qualified candidates, to take on middle‑leadership responsibilities such as Curriculum Leadership, Head of Year, ECA Coordination, or Head of Careers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for students from early years to senior levels, including GCSE preparation.
• Promote inclusive participation and adapt activities for diverse abilities.
• Contribute to the development and review of the PE curriculum.
• Collaborate with senior staff on extracurricular programmes and potential leadership duties.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching PE within the British curriculum, including GCSE.
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high‑quality learning.
• Passion for inclusive education and ability to inspire students of all abilities.
