Physics Teacher (Key Stages 3‑5)

About the role

GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail is seeking an enthusiastic Physics Teacher to deliver high‑quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You will join a vibrant international community in Dubai, where professional development and global career pathways are strongly supported.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Physics lessons for students aged 11‑18.
• Implement the school curriculum while adapting resources to meet diverse learning needs.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve academic targets.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Required profile

• A B.Ed or equivalent subject‑related degree with PGCE/PGDE or comparable qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Physics at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Demonstrated ability to share best practices and inspire students.
• Creative, enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Excellent IT proficiency for lesson planning and digital assessment.
