About the role

Jumeirah College, a GEMS Premium Secondary School in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Physics Teacher to join its outstanding Science department from September 2025. The role involves delivering the National Curriculum for England to GCSE and A‑Level students in a highly international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Physics lessons for GCSE and A‑Level cohorts.
• Maintain the department’s high achievement rates, building on recent 100% 9‑4 GCSE results and strong A‑Level outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Support students’ academic and personal growth within a global‑focused school culture.

Required profile

• Qualified with a B.Ed. or equivalent degree and PGCE/PGDE or similar certification.
• Exceptional subject knowledge in Physics.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience with the National Curriculum for England.
