Pipe Support Detailer

About the role

EPIC Piping is seeking a Pipe Support Detailer to join its Engineering team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for creating precise fabrication drawings for pipe support systems used in oil & gas and petrochemical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D fabrication drawings for pipe supports using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with piping detailers and engineers to interpret project specifications and design requirements.
• Generate accurate dimensions, material specifications, and welding requirements.
• Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) and material take‑offs for support components.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from design and fabrication teams.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry codes, standards, and client‑specific specifications.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI or associate degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a pipe support detailer in oil & gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
• Good understanding of structural components and fabrication processes.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for creating 2D and 3D drawings.
