Planning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our EPC projects in the oil & gas sector. The role involves creating, maintaining and controlling detailed project schedules to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Establish baselines, milestones and critical‑path activities and integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules.
• Monitor progress against baselines, prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and conduct critical‑path and earned‑value analyses.
• Identify schedule variances, assess risks and propose corrective or recovery actions.
• Coordinate resource allocation across disciplines, tracking workforce, equipment and material utilization.
• Support project teams with forecasting, schedule recovery planning and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of planning experience on EPC projects in the oil & gas industry.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret schedule data and risk factors.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders.
