Plant Operator – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Operator will run and monitor process plant equipment in the assigned area, ensuring safe and efficient operations in line with ADNOC’s standard operating procedures and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out operational tasks safely according to SOPs.
• Perform routine equipment checks, report abnormalities and coordinate servicing.
• Adjust and monitor speed, temperature, pressure and flow‑rate settings during start‑up and shutdown.
• Prepare plant and equipment for maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
• Receive chemicals, maintain stock registers and prepare chemical batches while following HSE rules.
• Operate related machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Obtain work permits, monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Act as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies as required.
• Prepare KPI checklists for management review.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in a relevant field or Secondary School Certificate.
• Minimum 4 years of plant‑operations experience in a large oil‑and‑gas industrial facility.
