Plumber Pipe Fitter

About the role

Southern Sun is seeking a dedicated Plumber Pipe Fitter to join its growing team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will work on a variety of plumbing projects, ensuring installations and maintenance are performed to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain geysers, water pipes, WC, basins and other plumbing fixtures.
• Open, clear and maintain sewerage and storm‑water drainage systems.
• Handle heavy materials, equipment and tools safely.
• Follow construction rules, specifications and safe working practices.
• Complete assigned plumbing tasks accurately with minimal supervision.
• Participate in health, safety and environmental programmes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance certifications are obtained for required installations.
• Identify and report plumbing defects, safety hazards and maintenance needs.
• Work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Maintain high‑quality workmanship across all activities.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a plumber or pipe fitter.
• Commitment to wearing correct uniforms, PPE and adhering to safety rules.
• Strong interpersonal skills for clear communication with staff and customers.
