Plumber Technician – Level 3

About the role

The Plumber Technician (Level 3) is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of all domestic water, hot‑water, drainage, sanitary and plumbing systems across the resort. You will ensure that all plumbing services operate safely, efficiently and in line with company standards while supporting operational needs and guest requests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water, drainage, hot‑water and sanitary systems.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, pipe blockages, faulty valves, pumps and plumbing fixtures.
• Install, replace and maintain pipes, fittings, valves, water closets, wash basins and faucets.
• Carry out routine inspections, report defects and complete maintenance records.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Assist with pipe modifications, shutdown activities and commissioning of new installations.
• Conduct flushing, temperature monitoring and other water‑hygiene tasks as directed.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Coordinate with other engineering trades and external contractors.
• Support water‑conservation initiatives by identifying leaks and recommending improvements.

Required profile

• ITI, Trade Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing or a related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in plumbing maintenance within hotels, commercial buildings, hospitals or similar facilities.
• Knowledge of domestic water, drainage, hot‑water, sanitary systems, pumps, valves and plumbing fixtures.
• Ability to read basic plumbing schematics and follow Health, Safety and Permit‑to‑Work procedures.
