PMC HSE Engineer

About the role

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE Engineer to support large‑scale gas processing projects for a high‑profile client in Abu Dhabi. You will work within Wood’s Oil, Gas & New Energies business, contributing to safe and sustainable project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor HSE plans for gas processing projects.
• Ensure compliance with client, regulatory and Wood standards across all project phases.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigations.
• Provide HSE guidance to multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Report HSE performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HSE Engineer on large‑scale gas processing or similar oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices applicable in the UAE.
• Ability to work effectively with high‑profile clients and internal stakeholders.
