PMC Lead Electrical Engineer

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Lead Electrical Engineer to provide technical expertise on a high‑profile oil and gas project for a major client in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in all electrical design and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
• Coordinate, monitor and manage electrical design activities with EPC contractors and engineering consultants.
• Perform regular technical reviews of deliverables, ensuring design quality and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and support installation, pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases.
• Contribute to equipment sizing, selection, layout reviews and design optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to make independent decisions and solve complex engineering problems.

Required skills

• Electrical design and engineering.
• Knowledge of ADNOC standards and international electrical codes.
• EPC contractor coordination.
• Use of engineering computer programs and general business software.
