PMC Lead Materials Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead Materials Engineer to join the ADNOC project in Abu Dhabi. The role is based full‑time at the client office and involves occasional travel to Spain. You will be the technical authority for all materials and corrosion engineering activities across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead materials and corrosion engineering for ADNOC PMC projects from FEED through commissioning.
• Ensure material selection, corrosion mitigation, metallurgy and asset integrity comply with ADNOC specifications and international standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, construction and commissioning teams to guarantee seamless delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and review of engineering deliverables.
• Maintain liaison with the client office and support occasional travel to Spain.

Required profile

• Proven experience in materials and corrosion engineering on oil & gas PMC projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC specifications, API/NACE standards and asset integrity management.
• Degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy or related discipline.
• Ability to work onsite full‑time and travel as required.
